tired tired tired

after a stressful night with my freak of an art teacher, I woke this morning to discover my sister Sandra is in hospital with her 3 week old daughter with a viral chest infection. I just got off the phone from Dad, and the doctors say she is doing much better... hopefully they will make a full recovery. I plan to see her tonight...

Also plan to catch up with renee later tonight too, and if time permits see a late movie, but i think i need to wake up at 6am tomorrow to go pick up Dad and take him to the airport for his early morning flight to Melbourne. He and Mum and planned on going down together for a Golf thing that Dad's in, but Mum will stay in Brisbane to help out Sandra and the baby Danika.

I then have a breakfast with Brendan at 8:30am at Darls... then back home to do some chores and hoepfully fit in a gym visit and maybe an Ikea trip too... need to buy a cordless power drill and get some shelf action happening in my study.

Sat night have Ugo's BBQ at his place. Sunday plan to meet up with this guy from Freedom called Chris.

Oh, yesterday I caught up with my english friend, and oldest school friend (from 1981) Gavin. He's in town for a bit, and we went to the Spring Hill Hotel for a beer, food, and chat. He's got a great sense of humour and makes me laugh. We only see each other now, about once every year or two.

sitting at my desk on floor 8 of the Qld Studies Authority in Brisbane. The afternoon sun is burning my eye as I wait for my colleague Ian to correct a bug before I leave .... hurry up... wont to leave as I've got to go out tonight for dinner at Andrea and Joes'

today I moved my mobil phone provider from Telstra (who had been charging an extraodinary amount of money) to a pay-as-you go option with Optus.... need to save money.

looks like Ian's fixed it now... now I can go home...
